THE HISTORY
For nearly five decades, the Gate River Run has been one of Jacksonville’s signature traditions. Created in 1978 by the Jacksonville Track Club, now JTC Running, the race began as the Jacksonville River Run and has grown into the largest 15K in the country and was a longtime US National Championship event.
