We need volunteers and or coordinators to help with the following:
- Handing out packets at the expo
- Expo set up and tear down
- Start and finish line help
- Water stations
- Chip Packet Stuffing
- 5K Walk for Charity volunteers
- Junior River Run help
- Registration
Expo Help
Volunteers are needed to staff the three-day Runner’s Expo at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt. We need about 200 volunteers to adequately staff the packet pickup area. We would like volunteers to work at least two hour shifts, four hour shifts are the best.
Expo Schedule for Volunteers
Wednesday, February 28th from Noon until 6 PM.
- Duties: Unload t-shirts and packets, hang banners and signs, and set up/organize area.
Thursday, February 29th from 10 AM until 6 PM
- Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets.
Friday, March 1st from 10 AM until 6 PM
- Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets.
Saturday, March 2nd from 6:30 AM until 2 PM
- Duties: Hand out t-shirts and race packets, and help load up from noon until 2 PM.
