Directions to the Race Site
The Gate River Run starts and finishes at the Jacksonville Shipyards on Bay Street in Downtown Jacksonville. The start line is located on 700 E. Bay Street near the Sports Complex.

Important: Roads near the Shipyards will close early on race morning. Please follow race parking signs and police directions.
Quick Driving Directions
From I-95 North or South
- Take I-95 to Downtown Jacksonville
- Exit toward the Sports Complex / Downtown exits
- Follow signs toward Bay Street and the Sports Complex
- Continue toward the Jacksonville Shipyards and designated race parking areas
From Arlington Expressway / Beaches
- Take Arlington Expressway west toward Downtown
- Continue toward the Sports Complex exits
- Follow race parking signage and volunteer directions
From San Marco, Mandarin, or South Jacksonville
- Take I-95 North toward Downtown Jacksonville
- Exit toward the Sports Complex
- Follow signs to designated race parking areas
Parking Reminder: The Shipyards does not have general participant parking. Use the parking page above to choose a designated lot/garage and plan your route.
Plan Ahead: Arrive downtown at least 60–90 minutes before your start time to allow time for parking and walking to the start line.
