Yes, please head to the expo when you are able on Thursday or Friday from 10 AM-6 PM, but you can not pick up your packet on race day unless you pay the $10 race day pickup fee.  No exceptions!

We do not recommend using strollers in the 15K because the course is crowded and the bridge expansion joints can be hazardous for wheels.

Top 10% hats are awarded to the first 10% of runners who cross the finish line based on gun time (overall order of finish). It’s about position, not chip time – so starting closer to the front can make a difference!

Like most running events, all entry fees are non‑refundable and non‑transferable. Planning the Gate River Run requires significant up‑front expenses for permits, police and medical support, course equipment, shirts, medals, timing, and venue services that are paid long before race day. Because those costs are incurred regardless of individual participant changes, we’re not able to provide refunds if your plans change. We encourage runners to register only when they’re confident they can participate and to consider this policy carefully before signing up.
